Six Week Course on the Life and Work of Patrick Kavanagh by Dr Una Agnew
Patrick Kavanagh Centre in conjunction with Carrickmacross Library will run a six week course on the life and work of beloved poet Patrick Kavanagh. The course will be delivered by Dr Una Agnew, author of ‘A Buttonhole in Heaven: The Mystical Imagination of Patrick Kavanagh’. Probably the leading expert on the poet and his life Dr Agnew along with her brother Art, has also produced an audio biography of Patrick Kavanagh called ‘Love’s Doorway to Life: An Alternative Biography of Patrick Kavanagh.’
This is a wonderful and unique learning opportunity for anyone with an interest in Patrick Kavanagh or indeed life in Monaghan & Ireland in the 20th Century.
