The Kate Beagan Collection

To celebrate the reopening of The Patrick Kavanagh Centre, we commissioned acclaimed local artist Kate Beagan to produce artwork inspired by the poet in the context of the landscape where he grew up.
As well as the final artwork ‘INNOCENCE’ now on display in the centre, Kate produced a series of treatments that worked so well we decided to produce a series of six greeting cards which form the Kate Beagan Collection. Each of the cards features an appropriate poem by Patrick Kavanagh. These are:
Inniskeen Road: July Evening
Stony Grey Soil
A Christmas Childhood (Part 2)
On Raglan Road
Innocence
Lines Written on a Seat on the Grand Canal, Dublin
The cards can be purchased either through our online store or directly from the centre’s gift shop. Contact us on 042 9378560 for more information.
