Patrick Kavanagh drew much of his inspiration from the countryside around Inniskeen.

The Kavanagh Country Bus Tour is led by expert guides who will board your tour bus and bring you on a journey through many of the places immortalised in the poet’s work. It is a great introduction to the landscape which so inspired him, and for those familiar with Kavanagh, an experience that brings his prose and poetry to life.
