Inniskeen Road July Evening Festival 2025

After the successful relaunch of the Inniskeen Road July Evening festival in 2024, we are delighted to announce this year’s events. At heart, Inniskeen Road is a storytelling and craic festival, peppered with special performances and visits to a variety of landmarks throughout Inniskeen. All in celebration of Patrick Kavanagh’s writing, the immortal evocations of his homeplace and the community he grew up with.

This year is no different with very special tours of Kavanagh Country planned for Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. The festival will open with an exhibition of new work by artist John Price in the Round Tower Church on Thursday 10th of July. On Friday evening, we remember Patrick’s great friend and lead singer of the Dubliners, Ronnie Drew, with Remembering Ronnie presented by none other than Ronnie’s son Phelim and the Drew House Band. Details of Saturday and Sunday’s Kavanagh Country activities can be found further below with the festival coming to a close on Sunday evening with BBQ and live music at the Inniskeen Community Centre.

The Patrick Kavanagh Centre will be open to the public from 11am until 5pm on both Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th July.
